Title: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: andymc on 07 January, 2018, 06:40:39 PM This look like it might be a good addition to the club event calendar?

However last year there was no arrangement for clabs only individual entry so no ability to park all Lancias together not as good.
No indication that Club group parking will happen this year. Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: sparehead3 on 08 January, 2018, 12:15:17 PM Hi Andy
I agree with Don, 2016 was fine and we all parked together and could set up picnics. 2017 was general Italian parking and didn't seem Italian themed. I'll add the event onto the calendar though so it gets to VL! and can be seen on our website. Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: donw on 22 January, 2018, 06:04:34 PM BOC are offering club parking but only if we can guarantee 20+ cars. However we can combine with Italian Auto Moto Club, they may also be offering a special deal on tickets I am awaiting confirmation.
Please post if you intend to come. Don Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: jmspear on 22 January, 2018, 10:38:01 PM Hi Don,

Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: HPEHF on 01 March, 2018, 01:10:49 PM Dear All,
At the Bristol monthly meeting which is shared with the Italian Automoto Club last night, we are looking to get a joint club area for the Saturday. We will let you know when arrangements have been made. Regards Simon Davis 8477 Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: Andrew2015 on 02 March, 2018, 09:24:44 PM Hi Simon, I would be interested also in any club arrangements please. Jane and myself went along last year in our Fulvia and ended up in the orchard car park in amongst the Alfas and Ferraris !! We really enjoyed it and plan to go again this year, but it would be great to get a Lancia club area sorted if we can. Thanks Andy Locke
Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: HPEHF on 04 March, 2018, 04:05:28 PM The request has gone in for a joint area for up to 40 cars between us and the Italian Automoto Club for a 2 for one ticket entry also.
Will let you know when this is released. Regards Simon Davis 8477 Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: HPEHF on 05 March, 2018, 01:35:10 PM Dear All,
We have been allocated a space at this years event, and can obtain tickets on a buy one get on free basis. However they are experiencing issues with the website host and promo codes. It looks like we will need to buy tickets in blocks, I can sort out the details with everyone and Prescott, can you PM me with ticket requirements which days you wish to attend, how many tickets you require, and number of cars and I will take forward. Regards Simon Davis 8477 Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: peterbaker on 06 March, 2018, 09:10:05 AM is one day Italian (Saturday) and the other French? I will be working there over the weekend so could make up the numbers. Image from last year www.retro-speed.co.uk
Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: DavidLaver on 06 March, 2018, 11:44:33 AM I wonder what percentage of tank capacity it needs for a run up Prescot?
http://www.forix.com/8w/250f.html 200 litres of fuel, 20 litres of oil. Perhaps 170kg of fluids. Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: ben on 08 March, 2018, 03:14:24 PM Count me in Simon.

I have my tickets booked thank you. Club code worked a treat. 2 for 1 offer appreciated. No mention of a car display pass though. The tickets are delivered electronically and there's no mention of it as far as I can see. Andy Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: GialloHPEIan on 17 April, 2018, 08:54:56 PM Hi All
I've just booked my space. Two for one worked but no mention of club parking pass either (maybe they post these out when they have some numbers?). There was a lot of initial interest so hopefully, there will be a good turnout of Lancias. Ian (6610) Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: GialloHPEIan on 09 May, 2018, 12:27:15 AM Hi All
I received my parking pass (Orchard- Orange) in the post today together with entry wristbands. I'm sure there's still time to book if you haven't got round to it yet! Regards Ian (6610) Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: donw on 21 May, 2018, 07:32:20 PM I have a spare entry wrist band if anyone needs one.
Don Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: andymc on 26 May, 2018, 06:00:54 AM Well I am meant to be there tomorrow but have never received a parking pass. So I don’t know what stone on there.....
Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: andymc on 26 May, 2018, 07:40:07 PM Does anyone know what Tim e you have to be there to park in the Orchard. I now have an email confirming access but didn’t receive a pass in the post so don’t have any instructions. Thanks Andy
Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: GialloHPEIan on 26 May, 2018, 10:21:47 PM Hi Andy
I would advise arriving between 8.30 and 9. Marshalling was not great today (Saturday) and by about 9.30 people just had to park where they could as it filled up. The cars participating in the hill climb start at 8.30 so if you don't want to miss any of the runs get there early. If you have a parking pass for the Orchard enter via the main gate. The weather was awful until about 11.30 this morning but brightened up for the afternoon. Hope this helps and have an enjoyable day. There was an excellent turn out with a very broad selection of Lancia's present today (photos to follow) so hope Sunday is great too. Regards Ian (6610) Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: andymc on 28 May, 2018, 07:30:25 AM Thanks Ian
Events caught up with us and we ended up not going. We would have arrived quite late. Photos on FB look good. Looks a very nice setting too so definitely one to do. Andy Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: GialloHPEIan on 28 May, 2018, 11:44:29 PM A few pics from the Saturday. Extremely poor visibility mean't that the hillclimb runs didn't start until around 11.30am. Fortunately the sun appeared for the afternoon.
A very enjoyable day, nonetheless. Regards Ian Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: JohnMillham on 29 May, 2018, 09:24:14 AM The Lambda is interesting. 8th. or (not so likely) 9th. Series. Not on the lists of Lancia Motor Club or Lambda World Register owners. Does anyone know who owns it?
Title: Re: Prescott Italian and French Event Post by: donw on 29 May, 2018, 06:01:28 PM John
It is an 8th, strange 2 seater with a sloping rear but no boot or dicky lid only access by moving the seat back. Reg is Isle of Man, there was no sign of the owner whilst I was there. Don |
