Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: fay66 on 28 January, 2018, 01:40:36 AM It's not very big as I have a copy, for series 2 with updated information. But worth having.

Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: fay66 on 29 January, 2018, 11:10:47 AM Surprised it wasn't for sale here as it's free, and at least its a targeted audience!

I paid £30 for my copy about 20 years ago, but since then re-printed photocopies have become more available and I don’t know what folk will pay now for originality.
I have a similar dilemma with some other parts. For example, I have a perfectly reusable S2 brake master-cylinder body. It was stripped ready for a rebuild 20 years, which never took place and it has been stored properly ever since. It is ready for use and doesn't require re-sleeving. Any ideas what I should offer this for? Colin Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: lancialulu on 30 January, 2018, 02:43:55 PM I have a similar dilemma with some other parts. A complete new assembly without reservoir is available for c £340 so a good body should be c£100 would be my guessColin Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: ColinMarr on 30 January, 2018, 05:59:08 PM Thanks Tim, that's useful to know. A further post from me will follow.

I would happily have paid £100, and probably more, for a good secondhand one. Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: SJWhite on 09 March, 2018, 07:28:27 PM Hi Folks. Am desperately needing a good workshop manual for JLT810N - Fulvia Coupe S3. Car was supplied with an inch thick 'Repair Shop Manual' originally from 'Mercian Manuals'. It is, unfortunately, completely useless. Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks. Simon

Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: SJWhite on 11 March, 2018, 08:01:02 PM Hi David - yes I should maybe do just that. I'm worried though that I might end up with the same thing as I have already, ie I'm not sure whats available.

I don't think one exists -I think that the only thing available is the original factory workshop manual and supplement. I find them a bit dry, but most of what you need is in there. The handbook also has good wiring diagrams. All are available as good reprints or .pdf on eBay etc
If you need practical advice, then there is a wealth of knowledge here and everyone is happy to help Good luck ! Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: lancialulu on 12 March, 2018, 07:34:51 AM The Consise Repair Shop Manual is in effect a S2,S3 addendum to the 1inch thick manual you have. It is about 1/4" thick. You really need both to understand everything Fulvia, but you need to read the fat one manytimes to work out if the mostly S1 and Berlina stuff is still relevant to your coupe.....
Time to get your hands dirty! Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: Chris Hopkins on 12 March, 2018, 07:27:52 PM Folks, don't forget your very own Library. It has spare original copies of some documents, photocopies of others and electronic copies of the more popular ones too, all, probably at lower prices than eBay. Why not try me first. I may not be on the Forum much but you have my PM in VL which I see every day.
Title: Re: Fulvia Concise Repair Shop Manual on eBay Post by: SJWhite on 16 March, 2018, 07:08:03 PM Hi there. And thanks to all. I did like the 'time to get your hands dirty' bit cos it's spot on. In the past I would have thought nothing of fixing anything on OMY80K however it now all seems very daunting.
I have acquired an original Concise Repair Shop Manual - thanks to this Forum. And therefore have no excuse - I need to get this car roadworthy. I also noted the Lancia Library - will look it out thanks Regards Simon |
