Title: Fulvia Tyres Post by: lancialulu on 14 February, 2018, 01:22:08 PM I received this message from Dougal:
I have some good news for your members. I have attached a picture of the new 145HR14 Pirelli Cinturato CA67. I haven’t got any proper pictures of the Michelin 155R14, so I have attached a picture of their 155R15 X (it looks the same) For some time now the tyre size 145R14 has been obscure and difficult to get hold of, and even when you could get a tyre in that size it wasn’t a classic tyre but a modern one with a modern carcass and a very modern looking tread pattern. However now Pirelli have come out with a new production of a 145HR14 Cinturato CA67 https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1981/s/145-r-14-pirelli-cinturato-ca67/category/2612/ Owners of some of the series 1 Fulvia Models have until now struggled to get a good tyre, but now owners of series 1 Coupe, Coupe Rally 1.3, Coupe 1.3S, Sport 1.3 and Sport 1.3S can get a period tyre again. The same can be said of the equally obscure tyre size 155R14, as Michelin have now reintroduced the 155TR14 Michelin X https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1954/s/155tr14-michelin-x/category/2612/ which hits the nail on the head for series 1 Fulvia 2C & GT models. Also good news for the series 2 & series 3 cars that fitted 165R14, also have a period wider low profile option from Pirelli with the 185/70VR14 Cinturato CN36 https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1411/s/185-70vr14-pirelli-cinturato-cn36/category/2612/ and 185/70Vr14 Michelin XAS https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/1959/s/185-70vr14-michelin-xas/category/2612/ We list all the tyres that we feel are suitable for a Fulvia on this web page. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/lancia/fulvia.html please if you spot any mistakes on this page please email us and we will correct it info@longstonetyres.co.uk Title: Re: Fulvia Tyres Post by: BermondseyBoy on 23 February, 2018, 01:58:53 PM Hello Andy. My little Fulvia was off the road for 15 years until last year and I had the same decision to make. In the end I went for a set from the Cinturato range by Pirelli and they look super and very retro. I am fiddling with the car this weekend and I'll post the size and tyre style/number on Sunday or Monday. They look very very nice.
