Post by: mikeC on 28 February, 2018, 08:56:16 AM I have already contacted Bonhams and pointed out their error; the chassis number they quote is for a Series 2 from c1946, although the photo shows a car with Series 4 bumpers (I cannot see whether it has a split rear window, which would confirm it as a Series 2).

It is a long time since I have seen so many Lancias in one auction. The late Brin Edward's collection. The Amey Lambdas. 3 Lambdas in one sale! I agree with your last sentiment Sebastien, wondering whats been the outcomes of recent sales of classic/vintage Lancias, ie how many have gone to the trade versus private hands? P PS I also enjoyed re-reading your 2007 article of the first 3 years on Lambda ownership, was there a second instalment since or doing another one covering the last 10 years?!
