a few years ago I broke a valve at a sprint and mashed the head and a piston up a bit. I have been refurbishing the car for a while now and have recently had the car going with an spare S1 1298 engine. The story is a bit more convoluted and the car is currently not going, but I am now piston rings, a cylinder block hone, new big ends and a bit of spannering away from having the car properly on the road, just in time to get an MOT (but now I won't need one!). Anyway, I would like to rebuild the original engine which apart from the head is in really good condition. So I need a spare 1216 head, or complete engine, or if I can't find these a spare S1 1298 head in good condition. If anyone has such items I'd be grateful if you could private message me Cheers Simon |
