Title: Aprilia rebuild - gears and wing beading Post by: peterblenk on 21 June, 2018, 10:25:11 AM The smaller gear from my first gear pair (12 teeth) is too worn. Can anyone supply a new one? Would there be interest in having some made? Mine is the two-shoulder type (16.2 and 12.6mm). The larger gears (27 teeth) is available from Cavalitto at £250.
Does any one know of a source of aluminium colour vinyl (or ally) wing beading? Here, however, is the drawing. Simon gave me a better used gear than my original but if you do go into making some new ones I will certainly like to have one for my cupboard.

Do you know from what material your gear was made from? Do you know the Rockwell hardness? I am taking note of your interest. I suspect others will be interested, too, as this small gear must be worn in many gearboxes.
