Title: Handbrake Adjustment Post by: michaelkaye on 11 October, 2018, 03:10:17 PM So I discovered today whilst gently rolling down a slope into a tree that my handbrake on my S2 Sport isn’t great!
I’ve read some threads about adjustment but what I’m not clear on is whether I need to remove the hub to do this and therefore whether I need this “magic” hub nut removing tool. Title: Re: Handbrake Adjustment Post by: lancialulu on 11 October, 2018, 03:58:12 PM You should try to rotate the in-hub brass knurled adjusters with a flat blade screw driver through the “hole” in the drum with a good torch you can see what is happening. Rotate the brass nut clockwise to lock the shoes and back off 8 clicks. If that does not work the club has the tool for hire (through me!), but it is out on loan at the mo.
