Title: Re: EBay Fraud Alert Post by: frankxhv773t on 23 November, 2018, 12:26:45 PM You don't get away that easily. Another 13 have popped up under a.r.f.vans and that's just Lancias. There are a couple of thousand improbable listings from this seller. I have a feeling it has something to do with money laundering.

Any idea how that works, cannot see it myself? Peter Title: Re: EBay Fraud Alert Post by: frankxhv773t on 26 November, 2018, 09:13:44 AM It's only a suspicion but I have occasionally seen one of these convert into a sale for a ridiculously high price. The only rationale I could see was that it would disguise the transfer of a large sum of money as a legitimate transaction. I have no idea whether that would work but I haven't come up with any other reason for the scam. Why do you ask? Have you some dodgy money to hide? ;D
