Title: make your Fulvia or Beta go faster! Post by: chriswgawne on 25 April, 2019, 04:24:57 PM I have had a pair of Weber DCOE carbs on my shelves which I have been holding onto thinking we might get another 1600 Fulvia one day which would be nice to modify. I don't really like Solex carbs as fitted to Fulvias and I have never seen Dellorto's for 1600 Fulvias so Webers would be the obvious choice.
Anyway it doesn't seem likely that we will get a 1600 Fulvia so would anyone like these? One is stamped 40DCOE and the other 38DCOE but they are both jetted the same and both have 30mm chokes. They were a pair on, I think an Alfa when I bought them and they appear to have had very little use. 38DCOE Carbs seem to be much more valuable than 40's by the way looking at ebay but I don't really know why as these seem to be indistinguishable. No reasonable offer refused. Chris Title: Re: make your Fulvia or Beta go faster! Post by: chriswgawne on 03 October, 2019, 05:31:36 PM These carburettors have now been snapped up by a bona fide carburettor dealer in Italy within 24 hours of me mentioning them to him. They will no doubt re-appear in a few months at double or triple what he paid for them.
Why did no-one from the Fulvia or Beta community buy them I wonder. Chris Title: Re: make your Fulvia or Beta go faster!
