Title: Tracing the history of "your" Lancia. Post by: Cassino on 26 April, 2019, 12:51:46 PM I would be interested if any of our Lancia owning members have traced the history of their own cars....
My Appia series 2 dates from early 1958, and was first registered in RSA.(South Africa).....It was brought into the UK in August 2009. It seems that many Lancias have come from South Africa of recent years , and I would be interested in who owned it, and for how long etc. Anyone have this sort of interest? ian Title: Re: Tracing the history of "your" Lancia. Post by: stanley sweet on 26 April, 2019, 07:09:04 PM When I bought my Fulvia I had the Italian paperwork. The first owner lived in Treviso. I wrote to ask for any information but never had a reply. Twenty three years had passed by then so it could be he wasn't even there anymore. I had to hand in the Italian paperwork when I had it registered in France and stupidly didn't make a copy (unaware it was going to be taken). Like you, I would have liked to have know more about it.

With the UK cars, you can apply to the DVLA for the history of keepers. Not sure how far back they go, but I have the complete list for my Beta from the mid 70s. Post by: KeithWade on 27 April, 2019, 09:08:03 AM Thankfully my LHD '73 series 2 Fulvia came with a full documented history penned in a small notebook by the original British owners who lived in Europe at the time of their purchase of the car.
Happy days! Just wish I had a few photos from its earliest days....... Title: Re: Tracing the history of "your" Lancia. Post by: Parisien on 27 April, 2019, 09:26:35 AM Just to link a previous topic along similar lines.

Simple answer to knowing your Lancia’s history - buy it new 😂 had my kappa Coupe for 19 years this week |
