Title: Series 1 Delta HF Turbo
Post by: frankxhv773t on 26 September, 2019, 05:49:53 PM
Series 1 Delta HF Turbo for restoration on e-bay. It appears to be a relatively un-messed with early example. I have no connection with the seller.    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BARN-FIND-1985-SERIES-1-LANCIA-HF-TURBO/293248938069?hash=item4446ffb055:g:z0wAAOSwghFc8T7o

Its that age where it still needs taxing and in London falls foul of Low Emissions Zone.  Been interesting seeing people out looking for and using 70's classics day to day.

It is quite amazing how Turbo prices have risen over the past 10 years.  I bought a 1989 i.e  for. tenth of this price back then which needed about £ 400 of welding plus parts to get an MOT. This car was then rust free  and in very good  condition mechanically  and bodily inside and out and had integrale seats to boot.

I'd have it in a heartbeat Brian but as you intimated at, I've projects on the go already which need thinning out. Early carb Delta HF would be mega, saying that the integrale is finally now running correctly so I have that to use.
Plus I've just bought a load of Beta coupe spares, although I don't have a Beta coupe to use them on  ??? Another car I'd always fancied  ;D
Flavia coupe will be very soon joining the to do list...

Come to the conclusion Kevin that your a glutton for punishment, but with great results whatever you take on.
So keep at it, pleased to hear you're finally getting to use your integrale at last.

Ps, I still think the Hf Turbo would look good in your collection.  ;D
