Title: Lancias on tv. 'Mafia kills only in summer'
Post by: ENZ6493 on 16 November, 2019, 04:33:28 PM
Just happened across a new (comedy?) series called 'mafia kills only in summer' set in 1979, full of period cars. Ive spotted a Fulvia coupe and berlina up to episode 4.

Check out catch up on channel 4. You can binge 12 episodes I think.

The story of a family living in Palermo during the 1970s, who try their best to steer clear of any involvement with the Mafia, at a time when the crime families maintained a strong hold over the city.

A bit like 'the wonder years' with added Mafia ☺

Cheers
Vince

Thanks Vince - wouldn't have probably come across this if you hadn't recommended it.
I've only just started watching it and they've done a great job of evoking Italy in the 1970s. When they're talking rapido you've got to read those subtitles quickly though.  ;)
Looks like it will be an enjoyable series. Great for car spotting like you say too!  :)
