Title: B20 s4 clutch release bearing, spacer and shim Post by: impaw on 01 February, 2020, 06:27:25 PM Hello,
I am assembling the clutch on my B20. I have gotten hold of a new release bearing and the shim and spacer, part #32 and # 42 in the enclosed diagram. Part #32 is too big, and wont fit inside the housing. Does anyone know the correct specifications for this part? I would guess the outside diameter should be the same as part #42, but perhaps the inside diameter should be a little bigger? Perhaps someone has a spare they could measure, or even better: sell?😍 All help much apreciated. I will check on my return and get back to you.

Your TAV 27 drawing above refers to 4th series B20 ( and also I think B12) clutches. There is an earlier version of Aurelia clutch assembly drawing TAV26 which is for B10, B21 and probably B20 3rd series and earlier where there is no component #32 or #42. The later modifications are presumably due to increased power? Hope this helps. Interesting! Yes, some sort of modification to deal with the increase of power I guess. |
