Title: rear engined gamma
Post by: Scarpia on 15 March, 2008, 09:14:36 AM
I never realised the Gamma was a rear engined model..... or is that a "reserve" just in case ;D

Two points....
1) it's a ser II so it's to be expected
2) quite a few Hillman Imps were fitted with Gamma engines for race/rally purposes
3) as far as I know the first prototype Monte was fitted with a Gamma engine (in the front)

"counting on the fingers of one hand" still not quite mastered Colonel . ;)

incidentally this gamma is for sale (as are about a dozen others at the moment in these parts.)I just don't see it as economically viable to buy them and bring to UK.
