There were 3 solutions: 1. A consortium of 3 people stepping in, and buying everything, then splitting the cars (many...), and sharing the parts; 2. One buyer taking over 4 cars and a ton of parts, and over 5 years rebuilding everything (best to have deep pockets and a dedicated mechanic); 3. One dealer taking over the whole lot, then trying to sell separate cars with kits of parts - he finished selling to a single buyer - see 2. The sellers were thus happy (kind of...) and the buyer(s) were taking over the problems /cars. |
