We received this email, anyone interested in Simon's email address, please get in touch with me. Peter "Dear Sir, I was around Havant/Portsmouth last weekend to view a Ford Mondeo (don't shoot me). Around the back of a tiny industrial unit near to where the Mondeo was parked was a Lancia Beta Spyder (T reg iirc) tucked away and abandoned (apparently owned by the brother of the person selling the Mondeo). Although the back window was gone and it looked like it had been there a while, some of the panels/wheels/bumpers looked salvageable. Not sure as access was a little difficult but the front end looked solid so assume the engine is ok. If anyone is interested I could pass their details to the Mondeo guy as he said it was going to be scrapped. Kind regards, Simon Ellis" Title: Re: Beta Spider possible parts car? It could yield innumerable small bits and pieces even things like the engine couldn't be extracted.
