Title: Thema Turbo S3 16v LS 1993 Post by: Kei_S on 16 May, 2021, 01:40:25 PM Service history from 1997. The car was extensively recommissioned in 2017 after being laid up since 2013/14, this involved complete removal and refit of the powertrain, replacement of timing belts, and a lot of ancillary work. I acquired the car in 2018 and since then, the car has had minor bodywork repairs required because of aggressive London parking. In the last 18 months the car has had work on fuel injection and turbo, replacement exhaust and silencer, replacement front steering rack, replacement rear shocks, and a replacement ABS pump. Mileage is 134444, due to personal circumstances and Covid the mileage has been low during my ownership – just under 3,000 miles. Plus side: MOT’d in March, taxed, good beige alcantara interior, clean wheels and Avon ZT5 tyres. Downside: some parking damage to bumpers again, paint has pitting and micro scratches to gel coat, intermittent dash warning light on sidelight circuit due to bad earth – lights unaffected, the turbo is good but could do with further investigation to optimise - possible waste-gate issues. The headlight and tail-light clusters could do with replacing as the rears have cracks and the fronts are cloudy.
