Hi,
I have just posted in the wanted section of the forum re: looking for an 8.32 as a bit of a project to fix up. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be great to hear from you.
Thanks.

Update: I am now the very happy owner of a Thema 8.32!
It's a Series 2, black (well, very dark grey really) with full beige interior and 92k kms. Runs and drives but needs some TLC and a big service of course.
The car arrived yesterday and I haven't stopped grinning. I'll get it cleaned up a bit today (it's now had its first wash in a long, long time) and start replacing the brakes too, for which I already have the parts.
Thanks again to those who commented / messaged etc!

Can't wait to see, and hear about it Haydn.
Well done, a dream car, chuffed for you 8)

Brilliant news.
Dara to dream, when do you hope to have it out?
-
Kevinlincs - many thanks, I'm absolutely over the moon with it! Ir really is a dream car for me, I've wanted one for years. I must have spent 6 hours cleaning it yesterday - its first proper clean in a long time. It looks all the better for it now.
DavidLaver - it's quite early to say but I hope to make some fairly decent progress with it as soon as possible. There's one or two other cars demanding my attention as well though. But I like to think that it'll be on the road in time for my birthday at the start of October. :)

This will do for now I think. :D

That's come up beautifully. It must be so rewarding to unveil the elegance hiding beneath the grime.

There are many, many people who would have ignored that car in the state it was in, not even realising how special a car it is.
The fact you persued it, and saw past the dirt and grime to what it would become is a credit to you.
I know exactly how you must have felt on seeing it, nothing was going to put you off was it?
I felt exactly the same when I first saw my integrale, although at the time the moss covered rust heap was still around 7 or 8 years from becoming mine, but I saw what it would become as you did.
Congratulations, the car has come up a treat, I just know that the hard work cleaning up couldn't have wiped the smile from your face, quite the opposite I expect as the more you cleaned the better it looked, like the car had found you .
Fabulous. 8)

Well done. That looks like a very similar spec as mine including the automatic rear headrests. If you're needing any information, just drop me a line & I'll see if I can help.

Frankxhv773t - it certainly was. There's still much to do inside out and in terms of bringing her back to life but it's really rewarding. For some reason the yellow pinstripe had been covered with tape all around the car? A friend and I removed the tape and wow... what a difference it made!
Kevinlincs - Thank you, and you're right; I was almost desperate to own one of these and had to bide my time, but as soon as I laid eyes on it I was smitten. I felt like a child at Christmas! And yes, my smile only grew and grew and continues to do so!
M Tulloch - that's very kind of you, thanks. Are you still thinking of selling yours?
-
Possibly. it's due an Mot at the end of August so will see how I feel when it has passed.
-
Sounds like a plan. I expect it'll be tugging at your heartstrings though as soon as you take it for a drive.

Stumbled on this old thread again and wondered: how's it coming along?
