Bill Stebbins, R.I.P.

We can all be saddened by the recent death of Bill Stebbins at his home near Seattle. His input on numerous matters Lancia was always valuable, if not always orthodox. His numerous insightful contributions to Lanciana are worth reading and re-reading.

A Franklin enthusiast, Bill owned amongst other Lancias perhaps the only running Augusta in North America, and it went as it should. He was always ready to suggest effective solutions for mechanical problems based on his deep understanding of engineering.

Originally from New York, Bill worked for Boeing for many years. In his attic, lying amongst sundry Lancia spares, was a rubber engine mount for a 747...
