Lancia Motor Club

Good Afternoon,
I’m contacting you on behalf of Alzheimer’s Research UK, with a volunteering opportunity that we think might be of interest to Lancia Motor Club members.

As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, we are delighted to be the official charity partner for this year’s The Classic – Silverstone event taking place Friday 26 August – Sunday 28 August 2022. We are looking for an enthusiastic team of ‘Collection Crew’ volunteers to help us raise money (at the Silverstone circuit event bus stops) by giving attendees the opportunity to donate to us, as they hop on/off our Alzheimer’s Research UK branded buses.

We are delighted to be able to offer all volunteers the following perks:
Before/after your volunteering shift, free access to the festival to enjoy the exhibitors, racing and atmosphere at this prestigious event (saving £££s per day, or £133 off the full event).
A fantastic festival camping discount (only £38 per adult for the weekend).
As well as:
Reimbursement of reasonable travel (up to £30) and lunch (up to £10) expenses in line with our Volunteer Expenses policy.
We notice that the Lancia Motor Club will be attending the event this year and we’d love to offer your members the chance to join our team of volunteers for a fun, social activity that all (18+) can enjoy; a valuable way to support Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Perhaps you could incorporate this opportunity into your club itinerary for the weekend? Or promote it through your social media channels, or in a message to all your members? We have also attached a poster with some further details, please feel free to circulate this if preferred.

Date: Friday 26 August, Saturday 27 August & Sunday 28 August 2022
Time: Volunteering takes place on all 3 event days. Volunteers can sign up to shifts on one, two or three days, with the following shifts available:
·       Morning: 9am-2pm (with a 30-minute break)
·       Afternoon: 1pm-6pm (with a 30-minute break)
·       All day: 9am-6pm (with a lunch break + 2 shorter breaks)
