Title: Beta Volumex Clutch
Post by: Paul_lancia on 27 July, 2022, 02:56:25 PM
All. I am looking to replace a Beta Volumex clutch and wanted to confirm if an Integrale 8V /Delta 4WD clutch  plate / disk and Beta standard (not VX) clutch release bearing would fit as this is cheaper (as far as I can find) than just ordering a VX clutch kit. Feedback would be appreciated. Paul Braithwaite

Hi Paul

I have just been through this loop for a VX clutch and there are various options which are listed for various of that era of Lancias. The clutch also fits some of the Alfa 164 amongst others. The key is to make sure it is the 230mm (228mm) one, not the 215mm or the larger ones fitted to some.

Yes, you will need a Beta clutch bearing.

FYI I ended up buying a QH QKT1467AF which came as Valeo manufactured parts. I would avoid the cheaper manuf as they do not have good write ups though no personal experience.

Hi Paul

One thing I did find was the enormous variation in pricing for what on the face of it seems to be the same product.

Peter - yes - Valeo vs QH seems £100 difference
