Title: LMC Badge - Fake or Fortune! Post by: Beckerman67 on 21 December, 2022, 02:41:42 PM Does anybody know if this badge was officially LMC produced?
Purchased on Ebay as '1970's'. Title: Re: LMC Badge - Fake or Fortune! Post by: simonandjuliet on 21 December, 2022, 02:52:55 PM It looks like a "real" one. They were popular in the 70's and 80's and as you say come up on eBay from time to time. There are some less attractive repros that I think come from India - they tend to be flatter and less well defined

Title: Re: LMC Badge - Fake or Fortune! Post by: will on 21 December, 2022, 06:00:58 PM The Lancia Club in 1947 was prevented from using the Lancia badge by Lancia England.
The first club badge was designed using a plain blue background. This badge was used until about the mid 1970’s Some early badges have the members number stamped on. Post by: Kevinlincs on 21 December, 2022, 10:48:25 PM I have a similar looking one that was in my Flaminia, didn't have the 2 mounting holes like that, more a clip to a grille type fitting, but the script and design look tye same.
I'll have a look and take some pics at the weekend if needed. Title: Re: LMC Badge - Fake or Fortune! Post by: frankxhv773t on 22 December, 2022, 12:58:55 PM It's a standard item which comes up on e-bay from time to time. I think I paid £15 quid for mine so neither fake nor fortune.
