Title: Fords, streams not cars. Post by: Raahauge on 28 December, 2022, 10:21:02 PM We had a very pleasant Boxing day outing of about 45 miles with a small band of other old cars along quiet rural Gloucestershire lanes in beautiful weather.
We crossed three fords, one of which, judging from the Vauxhall ahead of me, was deeper than I would wished as I thought my carpets were about to get wet. No problem, we navigated it carefully and everything was dry. However, when later parked in the garage it became evident that we had flooded the front suspension, it has taken me best part of a day to dismantle, clean and reassemble everything, be warned!
