Title: Fulvia S2/3 front disc replacement Post by: RRomanis on 29 December, 2022, 11:00:43 PM Hi All. I’d be grateful if a more season expert could remind me of the sequence for replacement of front discs on an S2/3 Fulvia. Any pitfalls and dos and don’t also gratefully received. Thanks.

Title: Re: Fulvia S2/3 front disc replacement Post by: nthomas1 on 05 January, 2023, 08:26:09 PM Hi Robert - I've not changed the discs on my S2 Coupe, though I have replaced calipers and brake pipes and have refurbished the master cylinder. I have pulled together various threads on the topic of disc removal/replacement plus an article on this topic from Lancisti - all in anticipation of one day having to do the job myself. I'll dig out what I've got and e-mail to you. I'll assume your e-mail address is the same as when we last talked unless you tell me to the contrary. Cheers, Norm

Title: Re: Fulvia S2/3 front disc replacement Post by: nthomas1 on 06 January, 2023, 06:02:33 PM I would do David, but are we free to post downloaded threads on here, or are there copyright issues with re-posting other people's blogs and threads? The most useful item in the pack that I sent to Robert turned out to be a Lancisti thread.
This goes back to a conversation on here a couple of years back where I expressed concern at how much useful Lancia information is being lost in the social media world. The folders I sent to Robert were a raft of downloads and screenshots from the LMC forum, the Lancisti forum, from online posts in various chat rooms, and (more recently) threads from Facebook. I have thousands of these items for the Fulvia, which I have grouped into similar categories to those used by Lancia in the TAV. I often send extracts to people who need help, with frequent WeTransfers to Australia, USA and Canada as well as closer to home. I always tell people that the information is for their own use only. I continue to fret about how to maintain this information for posterity! The pdf of the forum chat you mention could not have been more helpful. I hope there is a way around potential issues with being to share this on the Viva Lancia forum. After all this, on the inner face of the disc carrier there is a series of bolts to be removed to separate the disc. Andrea
