I have always admired Gordon Murray's work (& rock music taste) going back to his days at Brabham when they were based in Weybridge just behind Weylock Autos, Brian Collins Lancia workshop. I passed the time of day with Gordon on a couple of occasions back then as we were both Pink Floyd fans.  Brian was a Lancia expert particularly Fulvias and Aurelias and was instrumental in getting Jacky and I as well as my Dad interested in Lancias in the early 1970s.
And now today Gordon Murray will shortly be building his new high performance road cars ( but old school with manual gears and a petrol engine) just down the road from us in Windlesham, about 1km as the crow flies across Sunningdale Golf Course from our UK home.
I cant wait to hear that V12 @12,000rpm in the distance ! (although I understand they are having some trouble meeting noise restrictions at full throttle openings - how lovely.)
