Title: carbs Post by: Richard Fridd on 16 July, 2008, 02:35:55 PM i am trying to adjust the solex carbs on my s1 fulvia to improve idle smoothness.i think i have identified the idle mixture adjustment screws but am unsure of the function of the adjacent adjustment screws.on another similar carburettor i noticed these screws are blanks.can anybody advise? best regards richard.
Title: Re: carbs Post by: rogerelias on 16 July, 2008, 03:15:37 PM the mixture screws are on top of carbs with springs around the thread of screw, sounds like the other screws you mention are jets, and if so they should be screwed in carbs, and left alone. :)
