Title: knocking on hard left turn Post by: RichardL on 07 August, 2023, 11:24:24 AM I have managed to get my recently acquired series 2 running and it makes a rhythmic knocking on a hard left turn in first gear. My initial thoughts are CV but i have nagging recollection of this being symptomatic of a deeper gear box issue. I'd be grateful if someone can shed some light on this - thanks

Title: Re: knocking on hard left turn Post by: fulvia888 on 09 August, 2023, 09:21:51 PM Have you recently had new tyres fitted recently ? sounds crazy but for months I chased a knocking when turning hard left went through the CV theory + many other avenues, turned out being the internal wheel weights clipping.
