Title: Lancia Flavia Coupe 2000 1970

Imported in to the UK from South Africa in 2017, this car has benefited from the climate in its former home it has very little rust. It is fully UK registered as an historic vehicle.

In my ownership, (2018) I have undertaken improvements including new clutch and thrust bearing, brake pads, rear bushes and shocks, new front top and bottom wishbone ball joints and wheel bearings. I have also fitted a 123 electric ignition and had the carb fully refurbished. It drives and handles really well – in fact I’m often surprised how quick this 50-year-old car is!

When I bought it had some rust in the front wing rear quarter wheel arches and in the boot lid – both have been professionally sorted. The paint work is ok, but some micro blistering. The chrome is all there generally good.

The interior is very good, showing a nice aged patina. There is a slight split in the driver’s seat back which is hardly noticeable. I have had the passenger seat base re-trimmed to match the original. The maroon carpets are original and good condition. The car came with an original air condition unit fitted but not plumbed in. I have removed this but still have it along with the pump and mounting bracket. It has a period Alpine radio/ cassette player.

The car drives really well, gearbox is smooth and the engine oil pressure is 50 PSI at 1500 RPM.
This is a very presentable and usable example of a rare Lancia Flavia Coupe 2000. I have recently retired and moved to Northern Ireland, where the car is located. I'm seeking offers circa £20k.
