Title: Absence of Timing marks on S1 Post by: OldSparky on 29 September, 2023, 07:46:04 PM An earlier post ( in 2008) referenced no timing marks on a S1 Fulvia. I seem to have the same problem. Although TDC is possible any thoughts on setting timing ( ideally with strobe) Do I have to count teeth ( not sure on how many all the way round) and then calculate where to paint dot on and even this will have an error.
Clues welcome. And I thought ownership would be straightforward! Title: Re: Absence of Timing marks on S1 Post by: Charles Frodsham on 29 September, 2023, 08:06:33 PM There should be a TDC mark, but not an Ignition mark……is that what you have? If so you can time from TDC….10 degrees.
