It is certainly unique. Very little use and very few owners. I'd love to see more pictures. Anybody know this car? Willo Title: Re: Sensational and Unique Flaminia for Sale Post by: Mikenoangelo on 07 October, 2023, 10:14:08 PM A triumph of style over aerodynamics!
It's a compliment to Lancia that coachbuilders designs are rarely as good as the factory version. Same applies to Jaguars. Mike Clark Title: Re: Sensational and Unique Flaminia for Sale Post by: FERGTS246 on 16 October, 2023, 12:59:57 PM Hmm, more American glitz than Italian elegance.

Does anyone remember how this look was received at the time, before knife edge styling became popular later on? Did it make the more rounded designs look old fashioned? I expect it gave a sense of sweeping away the ordinary.

I suppose if you're doing a design exercise to show your new direction , you need to do an extreme version first that attracs attention, then the big manufacturers call up and ask for a toned down version. |
