I usually ask for glue AND rivets by the way ( being from the school of Belts and braces!). William Corke had used Wolverhampton for his B10 brakes and they used D3920 for his and so I used the same. Very good company to deal with. The thickness he used was 5.0mm and was just a little too thick but when asked they could do this with 4.7mm and this has worked perfectly without any tweaking. what the difference between 3921F and D3920 is I have no idea!

Chris Chris, do you glue it yourself, or do you have professionals do it? If you do it, what kind of glue do you use? Title: Re: B20 6th series front brake linings Post by: chriswgawne on 04 September, 2024, 06:13:20 AM I am a 'belts and braces' person Torstein ( an old English expression meaning to use BOTH methods if 2 are available) so I have my linings riveted and glued.
The only problem I ever had years ago was with glued linings which started to become detached. Chris |
