Title: Flavia 2000 Water Pump. Post by: Caracad on 20 May, 2024, 12:58:16 PM Water pump is making a noise. It’s also possible to wiggle the pulley by hand so some play there.
It was refurbished before I got the car and isn’t leaking. I assume the bearing has worn prematurely. Any advice anyone? Cheers Mark. Title: Re: Flavia 2000 Water Pump. Post by: Brian Long on 22 May, 2024, 05:27:59 AM I'd suggest removing it and replacing bearings with sealed type.
You can get a bit of movement and no leakage now because the seal face is spring loaded/ self-aligning to some extent. |
