Title: Advice: S1 Fulvia front / rear brake disc thickness
Post by: julian67 on 06 November, 2024, 08:33:18 AM
Hi

Would anyone know the correct & minimum thickness for front / rear brake discs for an S1 Fulvia ?

I want to see if I can have them skimmed.

Also someone around the Gloucestershire / Oxfordshire area, familiar with Fulvias who could replace clutch / fit brake discs

Many thanks

S1 Tech spec minimum is 11.5mm

Interesting S2 disks are thinner new at 9.5mm so I would say that is the absolute minimum.

I recently saw a rear disk that was barely (and dangerously) 5mm - replaced immediately.

Just measured S1 Fulvia front / rear discs

Front - 7/8 mm
Rear -   10 mm

Enough thickness to skim or, buy new?

Thanks
