Title: Fulvia accelerator arm pivot bush
Post by: RRomanis on 06 March, 2025, 07:05:40 PM
Hi,

Can anyone advise if replacement bushes for the pivot point of the accelerator arm are available?  It's Item 4 of page 18 of the Tavola - see attached screen grab.

If so, where can these be sourced, and is there any guidance on removing and pressing in the replacement bush?

On my car, the diameter of the hole through the bush seems to have expanded over time such that it rocks a little on the pivot rod, contributing to a sticky throttle pedal. Note that I have already renewed the 2 rubber bushes behind the accelerator pedal.

Thanks,

Robert

See last technical post for details of needle roller alternative or buy new bush from Omicron; search “Throttle pedal lever pivot bush”
Use a vice and press the old bush out using a small socket, slightly smaller in diameter than the bush, supporting the housing with a larger socket or short length of scrap tube.

Regards Simon

Thanks Simon
I have now ordered a replacement bush from Omicron, remanufactured by them.
