Shame on the magazine, lets never buy it again. Received my copy today, I was chatting to their journalist for about 10 minutes and he was taking notes all the while, so I don't really understand how I morphed into 'Brian Talbot' other than that he was on about a trio of Talbots earlier in the article, I shall email and ask for a correction ::) Having said that, it's not unknown for photos that I have sent in for publication in 'Viva Lancia' to appear without crediting me, & even worse, crediting my photos to someone else! It grates, it really does! I'd be tempted to write and correct them, but it would only confirm that I am still at the address and encourage more. >:(
I haven't seen the article. Did they at least get your first name right? Might not be the journo' fault - there may be some poor work by sub-editors. Don't rush to start a "Fahrenheit 451"-style bonfire outside their offices yet... :) Title: Re: Fay and Classic and Sports Car Post by: fay66 on 04 September, 2008, 10:42:18 AM Hi Harvey,
I once made the mistake of replying to Readers Digest! took me about 20+ years to finally lose them :'( What I also find annoying is even after you've bought a specific companys product they keep sending you information, do these people ever check their customer base ??? I doubt it. They did manage to get my first name correct though. here's the full offending article.
