I had a Y10 Fila for my first car and thought it was a great car, so when it went to the big scrap yard in the sky, I always said I would get another. Ten years on, and after advertising for one on the forum, I have got a 1989 GTie! On the drive home from Bristol to the Lake District, I realised how good and bad the Y10 is. The GTie goes brilliantly, but I was reminded just how badly it handles! Some of the twistier Cumbrian roads were taken with much more caution than I would if I were in the Lybra or the Fulvia. It has definitely reminded me why I loved the Y10 so much! |
