I seem to recollect that it was, at that time, Christine Hayward's car - possibly John Turner may be able to confirm this. I wonder who owns it now?

Now undergoing light restoration in John and Christine's garage, where it fits in with millemeters to spare, in front of John's Lambda tourer. John Hinchcliffe has looked after it well and it will soon be seen regularly in and around London, where it's an ideal car.

Wouldn’t it have been nice if I had used a Bronica or any other large format roll-film camera? The truth is it was a Canon Ixus digital clicked by me through the dirty windscreen of a Fiat Punto while trying one-handed to follow this lovely car through the lanes. What looks like smoke from the exhaust is just sunlight through the smears on the windscreen. Pleased you liked it. Colin |
