Hi all.
Getting the shed cleared out and have a couple of front seats from I think a Lancia, any information would be greatly appreciated.
Seats are in very good condition with runners etc. and are rip free. (see pic)
Don’t know what to sell them for, any suggestions? if no interest I might make them into an interesting armchairs.
Thanks, Paul

Hi Richard
Really sorry, stupid me forgot your tel number, had to do away for a few day, just got back.
Hope you had a good time at brooklands.
If your are still interested in the seats after all my messing around if you don’t live to far I could bring them over to you next weekend so you can have a look, no obligation to buy.
Want about £60, but see what you think when you see them.
Remember, no obligation.
Sorry again, Paul

brooklands jumble was very good thanks.i am in maidstone kent[40 mins?]£60 for the pair is fair if they turn out to be suitable.i can perhaps modify the subframes and i have been looking at 'furniture clinic'leather colouring kits.does anybody have experience of these?as it happens one of the seats in their website looks similar to the seats in this thread and is described as a rover P5 item.please give me a ring Paul and we can make arrangements to meet.i am free wednesday and sat/sun.alternatively i am scheduled to be in piccadilly mon/tue/thur/fri if you are in town[but will not have my lancia with me.best regards richard

I have used the Furniture Clinic leather renovation kit for my Aurelia, look at the photos in the Aurelia thread, "Pininfarina Cabriolet history required" It was easy to use and you can easily change the colour to match the rest of your interior, just send them a sample.
The kit comes complete with air brush and propelant cans, but I used a touch up spray gun and compressor, much quicker!

Hating to throw a potential spanner in the works here, but with those backrest recline levers, they look like early Rover P6 seats to me! That hooked up lever sat on the transmission tunnel side of the seat.
Could be wrong - it has been known!

hi Andy,i agree. as stated earlier in this thread-similar to rover seats in furniture clinic ad.the mystery now is where are they?
-
Hi Richard
Really sorry for not getting back to you, just got back from Hull, thank god.

Will give you a call in the week.

Hi Richard, Pleased I could help.
It was great to meet you and I would like to thank you again for letting me take so many photos of your superb Zagato, I was very envious.
Hope you have a chance to look for the Z badges you said you have, just email me when you find. Will be putting out a shout on the wanted section of the forum to see if any other members could help with my other missing parts.
Hope you don’t mind but I would like to keep in contact to pick your brains and take measurements from you car, and obviously maybe a pint in the conveniently situated pub.
See you soon, Paul
-
Hi Richard
Any luck in finding the Zagato Zd’s as promised that were exchanged for the seats?
Have you coloured the seats yet?, love to see a pic.
Paul

hi Paul,i have not found the other zeds but in the meantime you are welcome to that original plated brass? one that i took off my car as i will be sticking with that rather patinated one which i replaced it with when you came over.please let me know if i should post it or if you will be dropping by.the seats are now dyed black[ thanks to Ade for his recomendation of furniture clinic products]and are now installed on lowered mountings .they have transformed the interior although anyone taller than my 5'5"height would need to modify the metal seat bases to achieve sufficient head room.i have put my original seats into my loft to preserve them for the future.no digi photo equipment here so no pics at present.best regards richard
