Did you manage to find one, I hunted high and low for the one I knew I had, been out in the shed, up in the loft where I keep my spares, but couldn't find it. Yesterday I was looking through a lot of paperwork in a drawer by my computer, & there it was between some papers, it's not in particularly good condition and a going over with a paint brush is needed. If you want it, it's yours, just send me a pm with your address. Brian 8227 8) Title: Re: dedra engine badge? Title: Re: dedra engine badge? Post by: Joanna on 24 February, 2010, 01:04:09 AM Just thought I'd add this , on the bay of e,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lancia-Dedra-turbo_W0QQitemZ180471659490QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2a04f2fbe2 A dedra for spares , £100, he also has a thema as well. Title: Re: dedra engine badge? Post by: chugga boom on 24 February, 2010, 09:32:21 AM i bought a dedra turbo for spares of ebay 18months ago buy it now 1p yes thats right buy it now 1p!!!!! it had a supersprint full exhaust and a new set of tsw alloys with new tyres!!, basically i had to move a suzuki sj410 about 50 miles for the guy and got the dedra for a penny, i still hav it almost complete, interior is imaculate so if anyone needs anything that i dont need let me know , my other dedra turbo also came off ebay, i bought it for the interior as it was full leather , at the time i owned a 2000ie non turbo (now owned by peter baker) and my plan was to just swap over the leather interior as the non turbo car was such a nice one, anyway after driving the turbo i decided to put a qtr on it and paint it and then reluctantly sold the non turbo to peter, its amazing how differant the turbo car drives and handles compared to the non turbo version, i've done a few mods to it also, it came with koni suspension and uprated grooved brakes all round, i've put delta hpe 16" alloys on it "cost me more than the car!!" , lightened and balanced flywheel, uprated clutch, k&n panel filter , bailey dump valve, tubular manifold, pinched the exhaust off the other dedra turbo and my god it goes!! , in a straight line on a dry day there isn't much that'll touch it !! ;D

Brian 8227 8) Title: Re: dedra engine badge? Post by: chugga boom on 24 February, 2010, 10:37:04 AM Hi brian, spare time ::) whats that???? , i'm keeping the spares car fairly complete as its easier to pinch bits as and when i need them, it hasn't got the electronic shockers on it, the climate control panel i want for my car as the lcd display on mine isn't the best and mechanically it makes sence to hang onto what i can, however if someone wanted a really good interior i doubt i'll ever need it! i also have a 1800ie for spares too, this is in a very sorry state but again may provide usefull parts for anyone needing anything, not sure whether to hang onto my dedra at the moment as once again space is an issue + as with my evo it never gets used (thats why i sold the delta) its a shame to sell as its pretty worthless and what other car can provide somany smiles for so little money??, its a hillarious experience driving it as people just dont expect it to go the way it does, a few months ago i was being tail gated by a "young chav" in a subaru , u know the type i meen with all the stupid stickers all over it ::), anyway i pulled over into the slow lane at about 75mph, let him get his nose just infront of me then started to accelorate, his face "and his friends" was priceless, not sure what his top end speed was but certainly wasn't the 150mph that i reached ;D, total Q car, by the time we reached chester the old man in the old lancia was getting thumbs up from the passengers in the subaru however the driver didn't look impressed, it proved the point that a drain pipe exhaust and stickers doesn't meen that it goes well, everything thats done to the dedra looks fairly standard making it more embarrasing for young chavs , the grale i hated for similar reasons, always a young lad in a corsa or imprezza wanting to have a go, the dedra leaves more of an impact with them though as its just a plain family saloon, these days i stick to my little berlingo van as its cheap to run and i'm unlikely to loose my licence in it ;D

Brian 8227 8) i pray she's in good enough condition to continue trying to get her back on the road!! Na to be honest i see no reason why some TLC & a bit of cash shouldn't get one more Dedra back out there! Just hoping it doesn't turn out to be a money pit! This year i finally hope to get a garage of my own (20x30ft) so i'll be able to do alot more work even in poor weather! Title: Re: dedra engine badge?
