Hi Brian, thanks for asking.

Got back yesterday after a couple of weeks in France only to discover that the front wheels have not been sorted and the new tyres not fitted. Disappointing to say the least as I was so looking forward to using her this weekend.

Robin.

For the record, it was sold previously at the Monaco sale of Bonhams, 16 May 2005, for € 52.900.
That was the sale in which the Cima collection was sold, including the metallic green B24 spider, and the Aurelia Giardinetta.
It has not changed much since then, and I wonder how many miles it has done in 4 years.
It is certainly a fine original and unrestored early Astura saloon, at an interesting price, but what do you do with it after purchase? Put it in your museum? Drive it? Restore it?
I just hope no one is going to think that he got a bargain price complete Astura chassis, which he can rebody with a rakish 2 seater open body of unknown origins to resell at great profit.
