Title: HAPPY CHRISTMAS Post by: Dilambdaman on 11 December, 2009, 11:28:25 PM Wishing all you Forum guys a very happy Christmas and a good New Year.
Its been a great Forum year with so much of real interest, useful information, support and entertainment. I'm sure I'm not alone in having derived much encouragement from this online community. Many, many thanks to you all. Robin. Title: Re: HAPPY CHRISTMAS Post by: DavidLaver on 12 December, 2009, 11:45:23 AM Likewise!! ...and of course greatly looking forward to 2010's forum... Happy Christmas all ;D David Title: Re: HAPPY CHRISTMAS Post by: ColinMarr on 12 December, 2009, 03:49:11 PM Similarly, to all Forum readers my very best wishes for Christmas and 2010! Let me combine this with an affectionate dip back into the past.
See below for an extract from a LMC News Sheet of December 1968 (I hope it’s legible!), this shows plans for a central London new year party with room for only 45 members, and costing all of £1.63 per head. It also shows no less than four monthly meetings all in or around London. Also attached is an extract from the LMC Journal of Summer 1969, which is a nicely written humorous comment on the AGM dinner wine-list. Note the names of Nigel Trow, John Millham and Pat Ure – all still involved with the club forty years on. Title: Re: HAPPY CHRISTMAS Post by: fay66 on 24 December, 2009, 09:03:51 AM Hello Guy,
Wishing you and all our Lancia friends everywhere A Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, How's it looking for New Years Day? It's also interesting to have the input from our Overseas Lancisti friends, as you also often see things from a slightly different viewpoint to us here, we sometimes think it can be hard owning a Lancia or two, but nothing like the problems it can be for you fellas. I think it's been a good year for the club and in particular here on the Forum, in fact I think the most controversial issue on here in the last year has been whether the carpets in a series 3 fulvia were green or black!! . Regards Steve, Margaret and Emma P.S I still think they are green ;) Title: Re: HAPPY CHRISTMAS Post by: ncundy on 24 December, 2009, 08:36:03 PM Happy Christmas to everyone - hope Santa brings what you asked for ;D
