Title: Flock channel Post by: rodney3010 on 04 March, 2010, 08:39:13 PM Can anyone recommend a product to stick flock channel into the window channel? I was thinking probably sikaflex but interested to know if anyone has anything tried and tested?

You can feather the edges to form a good waterproof seal to reduce the moisture getting in behind the felt body.

I must admit I thought the original question referred to the fitting the felt into the U channel running vertically in the doors. However, I also used Sikaflex in fixing the felt medium to the horizontal outer and inner door capings. ie anything to avoid using screws and starting the rusting process from day one, again (sorry Brian!)

Regards Hi Roddy, you are probably right, but I've not tackled the felt running vertically, only where the drop glass runs.
