after inspection, it was sadly too far gone, so plan B the engine is siezed, my plan to rebuild the engine. and fit the engine with super charger, gearbox and subframe in to my Coupe. the car has only covered 29,000 miles, I will be breaking the parts that I do not need the good parts are: Interior 2 front seats, rear seats, front door cards, rear cards with period speakers all fixings in ready good conditon, just needs a good clean very rare to find in this condition Carpet- as new Headlining- as new stering wheel-leaather boot carpet including sides spare wheel cover all door locks front electric window regulators all switch gear speedo showoing 29,000 miles gear stick gear stick gaiter sunroof-reserved headlining dashboard tailgate louver tailgate load cover rear lights driver & passenger windows-reserved front/rear bumpers tailgate glass 4 seat belts front wings-very good conditon front spoiler rear spoiler scuttle pannel roof panel rear turrets? fuel tank ? bonnet-resereved front wheel arch liners-SOLD radio-SOLD p/s steering-reserved --------------------------------- very very bad parts: body headlights/back plates tailgate brake calipers/discs doors I will be removing the engine in the week or so, and sell off all the bolt off parts till my project is complete then cut up the body/remove glass here is a link to my photo set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/sets/72157623541472351/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonysphotos/sets/72157623541472351/) my email address is t_harrison3@sky.com mobile 077729 42896 all large parts will need to be collected, smaller items can be posted at cost. the car is located in Ripley Surrey (Days), but with notice I can take them home Farnborough, Hants Eves/Weekends Title: Re: Beta HPE Volumex Breaking 29,000 miles Post by: thecolonel on 08 May, 2010, 11:38:33 PM Tony, I think you may have to keep the fuel tank, I seem to remember they are different
