Title: Re: my integrale restoration Post by: HF_Dave on 26 May, 2010, 08:51:59 PM Well done Peter, It's good to see a project making progress like that, I sold my 8 vave 1988 last week, I sent it to a body shop for repairs and they removed the doors and wings and it became clear there was a lot of welding to be done. I was asked if I would sell it at this point and i agreed, I'm mot the kind of guy to bail out on a project but I have a Fulvia undergoing a nut and bolt resto at the moment and funds are tight. I hate parting with a lancia at any time but i have a very good 16v at home waiting to be driven ;D
Title: Re: my integrale restoration Post by: peterbaker on 26 May, 2010, 10:00:56 PM I think that a lot of restorations begin as a desire for the car to be just that much more presentable. But actually there is no finish point, perfection is always the property of somebody else. The best time to enjoy a car is immediately after purchase when the only thing that matters is to driving the car, finding your way around the controls, reading the handbook and checking out the history.
