Title: valuation Post by: chugga boom on 14 September, 2010, 06:24:06 PM anyone got any ideas who i can use to independantly value my augusta ??? insurance renewal time and i feel its value has increased over the past 4 yrs especially with all the work thats now been done, eg 4 yrs ago don cross valued my appia at approx 7k however he told me that one in his oppinion not as good as mine has just sold for 10k , so this is my dilemma as all these cars have increased in value and i just want enough cover to replace if ever anything were to happen , any sugestions??

You negotiate the agreed value with the insurers and take into account the cost of restoration. I would suggest at least £15000 if not more. My Aprilia is currently set at £25000. It just costs a little more on the premium.
