If you don’t get any better or nearer suggestions, you could try my local Muswell Hill tester. They are thorough in their testing but realistic in not failing a car for trivial things that you can fix yourself. They trade as Sutton Road Garage and are based at 60-66 Sutton Road N10 – tel: 020 8883 0970. Contact me off-forum if you would like me to introduce you – it might help. Tim Title: Re: Sympathetic MOT tester in London Post by: Scarpia on 17 February, 2011, 09:31:59 PM as its not a sealed unit the leaking is not really influencing performance .(but you need to explain how a damper works maybe to the mOT inspector which he may not appreciate;... )

Looking as if it was smiling as it sped away from the MOT test centre - see photo below and another one of the car relaxing at the back of the garage.
