Post by: lancialulu on 17 October, 2016, 03:12:55 PM Just resurrecting this thread as I wonder how to get back to before 1972 registrations. as the current "app" seems to have this cut off. So we have 300 Fulvias, 339 Deltas (mostly Integrales), 150 betas, 20 Dedras, 49 Themas, 19 Gammas, 106 Flavias, and 53 Flaminias, but no record for Appia, Aurelia, Aprilia etc. and I do not believe the Flaminia, Flavia, Fulvia figures due to the 1972 cut off....
If that is all we get then analysing how many Lancias are currently registered and on the road is nigh on impossible.... It occurs to me that darker forces are at work in that policy makers do not want this information to be public as it would show just how many cars in the tax free bracket are on the road. I always favour cock-up over conspiracy where government departments and agencies are concerned.

Having owned a Prisma since 1990 - more SORN than on the road for 20 years but currently MoT and taxed - there came a time when DVLA kept sending queries about the VIN. It seems their system had lost a digit, most likely in course of a manual input or update to their system. |
