Title: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: bruciebonuz on 20 October, 2011, 01:05:29 PM Did anyone on here succumb to the charms of the nice blue with red 2000 HF that was on ebay - seemed someone snuck in and made the only bid at £6900. A very good price for what looked like a terrific example.

Looking at the bid history of the winner, it looks like someone in the motor trade, so I guess we may see it appear on someones forecourt/website sometime soon unless bought to order of course. Fantastic car at a good price. Lucky new owner!

I thought the first one was blue. Its also at a much cheaper starting price (although is there a reserve?). Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: SteveGales on 16 November, 2011, 03:46:00 PM Same car, same seller, being re-listed apparently beccause of first bidder pulling out due to prersonal reasons.
This time filler mentioned in a few panels, still looks lovely though. I thought it was Lancia dark blue originally as well Paul. Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: bruciebonuz on 16 November, 2011, 08:27:09 PM I spoke to a Hampshire dealer who coincidentally had seen it. Apparently the paint is not great and it needs a respray. Still a lovely car at the right price I reckon. It is black.
Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: HF_Dave on 19 November, 2011, 08:28:14 PM Nice looking car allright. I dont think you will find one without filler though, Panels are impossible to find. :)
Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: bobhenry999 on 22 November, 2011, 11:17:54 PM It sold (twice) but was not collected, so I went to see it a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately the pictures flatter the car. It is full of filler in the doors and wings, and needs a complete strip down and repaint (again). It sold at Barons in 2009 for £5500, and originally was Rosso Metallic with a cream interior - I have photos of it back in the 80`s in this colour scheme. To his credit, the guy (who was a nice chap) was not aware, and after I pointed out the problems, he re-listed it with a more detailed description. I am still looking for a Flavia/2000 saloon or coupe myself, so if anyone can help I would be most grateful. Chris Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: bobhenry999 on 23 November, 2011, 11:09:44 PM Yes I did see the white car.
The only problem is (and I know this will sound daft to some) I just don`t like white cars, old or new. I`m sure many will think that with so few cars available that I am being too `picky`, but with prices as they are, I want to get the right car for me. Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: kernow on 24 November, 2011, 05:30:25 PM :D I have a real soft spot for a white car - at one point had a white Montreal and white Giulia Super. No one seemed to like Alfa's that aren't red. The white HF looks very tidy mind,

Not sure why the link didn't appear? Chris Title: Re: 2000 HF on ebay Post by: bobhenry999 on 24 November, 2011, 10:55:20 PM Does anyone know of the whereabouts of either of these two;
LNG 602L 2000 HF, or PZT 555 Flavia coupe. I owned both some years ago and would buy either back. Bob |
