Title: Any history? Post by: Angle Grinder on 15 December, 2011, 03:40:16 PM I have a friend who is interested in this Fulvia http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C270532 (http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C270532)
Does anyone recognise the car and know any of its history. Only 4 owners in 43 years is very encouraging! Title: Re: Any history? P Title: Re: Any history? Post by: bruciebonuz on 15 December, 2011, 05:43:39 PM and at £4500 surely a bit of a bargain....
Title: Re: Any history? Post by: zagatoboy on 15 December, 2011, 07:23:42 PM I'm sure this car was on ebay recently, seem to recall the guy saying the mg in the background was for sale as well? just sounds familiar, looks very nice though and at £4500 if it stacks up sounds like it's worth the money. Looks like it's had recent work, look at the rear of the front inner wheel arch on both sides extending up from the sill, looks like fresh paint or underseal? very nice cars the series ones though, good luck and keep us informed ;)
Title: Re: Any history? Post by: nistri on 16 December, 2011, 07:30:55 AM The price is quite low for model and year and, therefore, a careful check is advisable. This Fulvia has a non-standard external mirror which has "migrated" to the door. Maybe one should check whether this means major bodywork repairs in the past. The brake master cylinder looks like an after market item, but I might be wrong as I cannot see it well in the picture. Andrea

Title: Re: Any history? Post by: peteracs on 19 December, 2011, 05:33:02 PM Hi All
I do not have any great experience of Fulvias, but I thought the S2 had the raised lights. Is this one a late S1 or import from other place eg SA? Peter Title: Re: Any history? Post by: ncundy on 19 December, 2011, 09:54:38 PM Only the UK S2's had raised lights, other RHD markets had the low lights so this may be an SA car or Irish or maybe Australian. DVLA says it was first registered in the UK in 1984.
