Title: VSCC Silverstone 21 April Post by: ColinMarr on 25 April, 2012, 06:01:28 PM Sorry to be slow in posting on this, but VSCC’s April Silverstone race-day had its usual extraordinary display and close racing by legendary cars. The main race had eight ERAs from 1934 to 1938 in tough competition with other and later cars including a Ferrari 246 Dino from 1960. The Ferrari won, but some of the ERAs were unbelievably fast. The ERA E type is pictured below.
There were no Lancias racing, nor in the Vintage car park, but I did manage to spot John Millham’s Augusta, the Aurelia B20 of Tony Stephens (LMC member of many years and VSCC President) and my own Fulvia in the car park. Colin |
